At "Montessori Children" Kindergarten, we believe that parent involvement is key to both the success of the children and that of the school. Our parents are an integral part of the school community, through volunteering, participating in events, taking an interest in the academics and activities at the school, and, most importantly, by supporting their own children as they grow and develop.

Here are some of the ways in which our community interacts
THE PERIODIC NEWSLETTER
The periodic newsletter is one of the sources of communication between the teachers, the school, and the parents. It contains information about upcoming events, dates of importance, what the children are learning, and events and happenings in the classroom – and any other information from the teachers, administration. If you are a parent at "Montessori Children" Kindergarten, please read the newsletter – it’s an important source of information about what is going on!
THE FAMILY GUIDE
The Family Guideis distributed to parents before the start of every academic year. This is the basic information about how the school works on a day-to-day basis, and our most important policies as they pertain to the students’ life at school. We kindly ask all parents to be very familiar with the Family Guide, as it makes life a lot easier to know how the school works. The manual also includes expectations that the school has to its parents. Creating a great school experience for the children is always teamwork involving both school and parents.
MONTESSORI NIGHTS

Montessori nights in Casa dei Bambini and Infant provide parents with an understanding of the Montessori principles, what the children do at school and how they can apply the principles at home. This is a mandatory tool through which we offer support to all families in their efforts of providing a good educational environment outside school. We request minimum 2 annual participations at these kind of events.
OUR FACEBOOK PAGE
Our Facebook page contains material about the school and Montessori in general. We post notices about school closings on Facebook. Except from that, we announce future events and activities at the school. Also this platform offers the parent community a virtual interaction space where educational related subjects may be discussed or debated. We have a strict supervision regarding the content of the page including the fact that only "Montessori Children" Kindergarten parents have access.
PARENT TEACHER MEETINGS

Parent Teacher Meetings are scheduled regularly for the parents to learn about their child’s experience at school. In addition to the regularly scheduled meetings, parents can always ask for a meeting with their child’s teacher.
THE INDIVIDUAL FILE
Also, the parents can check daily the individual file from where they can find out the essential information regarding their child (emotional wellbeing, health, appetite, etc)
SMS TEXT MESSAGING
SMS Text Messaging is used for urgent notifications.
PHONE TEACHER - PARRENT CONFERRENCE
We offer a daily phone teacher – parent conference. This means that parents can speak to the teachers daily starting 2 PM until 4 PM for any urgent matters.
